Items fall basically in two big categories. Weapons and Armour. Depending on which Swords and Sandals that you are playing (1, 2, 3 or 4) the kinds of Armour and Weapons vary between shops. For example: in Swords and Sandals 3 Solo Ultratus, there are various shops selling diferent types of Weapons, namely Swords, Maces, Axes, Guitars, and guns/bows.
In Swords and Sandals 3 sometimes weapons could be found enchanted, this means that the weapon has bonuses on the stats of the gladiator, which depend of the type of item and quality of enchantment. Higher quality enchantments usually require higher level to be able to be equipped. Probably because of their strong attributes
